(SLJ Activity 28) Ice cream

Hey viewers, today I did a task for the Summer Learning Journey. We had to make a copy of a slide and then on the slides were audios. You had to listen to the audio and you had to have a go at trying to write it. It was hard because all the words were Maori. Then when you finish writing the sentence, there will be a box under the box you wrote in. Then you delete the box and it shows the correct Maori sentence. Some of the sentence's I nearly got correct. The hard thing was trying to spell the word while listening to the audio. The easy thing was making my own and which you will see on the very last slide! I hope you guys enjoy!

Which slide was your favourite?

  1. Kia ora Kali,

Fiona here from the Summer Learning Journey. He tino pai tō mahi! Great work completing the ice-cream activity by listening to the audio and having a go at writing the sentences in Te Reo Māori. You did a great job at trying to spell the words as you heard them - ka pai!

Next, you might like to have a go at the stepping it up activity, where you can use Scratch to create an animation of characters using the vocabulary and sentences you have learnt.

I notice your image is too large and is overlapping the sidebar of your blog.

    Keep up the awesome mahi!

    Ngā mihi nui,

    Fiona (SLJ).
