Hey viewers, today I did a SLJ (Summer Learning Journey) task. For this task, we had to find a photo that was fake and real. then you have to tell the viewers why the photos fake or real. So that is what I did today and I said the photo is real or fake. There are two photos, a real photo and fake photo. The hard thing about this was finding a photo that was fake and the easy thing was telling why it is fake or not. I hope you guys like it and Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteMolly here, I think you have done a good job with your real and fake activity. I like how you have made it really clear which you think is fake and which you think is real. I have a friend who has colourful braces so it is possible to have green braces.
Did you play the real or fake game? If you did I would love to know your score. Some of the fake ones looked real and sometimes it was really hard.

ReplyDeleteFiona here from the SLJ team. Great work completing the 'Which Face is Real' activity and learning all about the deep fake that exists online! Did you try the activity where you have to guess which face is real, and give yourself a score out of 10? I got 5 out of 10 when I first tried, but I think I could do a lot better now!
There are so many interesting features to look out for in the fake images. I like how you have compared to different images and pointed out that the braces look fake. I think that you are correct because the background looks a bit blurry too - let me know if that's correct!
Did you try the Step it Up activity where you do a reverse image search on Google? Maybe you can make a screencast showing how to use one of the three ways to do a reverse image search that you learn about when you watch the first video.

ReplyDeleteI could not tell if you took a screenshot from the "Which Face is Real?" website or whether you made up your own. I think from what you were saying that you designed your own. Very clever. How did you go with the competition on the website we used? What was your score out of ten?
