(SLJ Activity 40) Super Seesaw!

Hey viewers this week is actually the last week for the Summer Learning Journey. So this week I am going to put everything I have got into the Summer learning Journey this week. I made my own Super Seesaw. I thought it turned out really good. What I liked most about this task was launching the ball of the Super seesaw. The hard thing about this was building it because we had to use blue tack but the blue tack was not sticking much. The easy thing was launching the ball off the Super seesaw. I hope you guys enjoy and I recommend you guys should try making this!

  1. Kia ora Kali,

My name is Fiona and I'm from the Summer Learning Journey. You have done a great job making a really cool see-saw - ka pai!

I really enjoyed watching your video and seeing how much fun you were having with your see-saw. My favourite part was the moment of truth at the end, as you tried to get the blue tac to fly. I almost ducked down as I thought it was going to hit me in the face! It looked like you were able to get your blue tac to launch pretty high. Do you know the biggest distance it travelled?

Have you ever been on a see-saw at the playground? I don't see too many at playgrounds these days but they were really popular (and really big!) when I was a little girl.

Keep up the fantastic learning and blogging over the summer.

    Mā te wā,

    Fiona (SLJ).
