(SLJ Activity 26 Normal task) New Year Saying's!

Hey viewers, today I wrote the sentence "Happy New Year" in 5 different Languages. The hard thing was understanding some languages and the easy thing was writing them on to the Google Drawing. This is going to be a short blog post so lets get start into it. I hope you guys like it! Enjoy!

Which languages do you understand the most?

  1. Kia ora Kali. Happy new year! It's interesting that the Spanish and Italian ways of saying it are so similar. Other than the English I think I understand the Spanish the best because Feliz reminds me of the Christmas song Feliz Navidad! How about you?

  2. Tēnā koe Kali, Fiona here again from the SLJ.

Great work completing the kickstart activity and writing Happy New Year in 5 different languages. I hadn't seen this in Indonesian before, thank you for teaching me that!

The language that I understand the most is Italian - I speak some Italian and try to speak it at home with my family.

I hope you are having a wonderful 2021 so far! Keep up the fantastic learning and blogging over the summer. It is so exciting to see all your mahi!

    Ngā mihi nui,

    Fiona (SLJ).
