(SLJ Activity 10) My AMAZING HAIKU POEM!

Hey viewers, today I made my own awesome Haiku Poem for the Summer Learning Journey. To making a Haiku Poem you should only have three lines. The first line should have 5 syllables and then the second line should have 7 syllable. The last line should also have 5 syllables. The hard thing about doing this was thinking of what to write, but the easy thing was putting a photo in that matches what I said. This reminded me of when I went to the beach and me and me siblings were playing water fight. I hope you guys like it and you guys should try it out too!

Which line was your favourite?

  1. Kia ora Kali,

My name is Fiona and I'm from the Summer Learning Journey.

I really enjoyed reading your cool haiku poem - ka pai! My favourite line was when you wrote 'and I chill and eat'. The word chill is such a great word to describe going to the beach and relaxing. I love going to the beach in the summer and eating, swimming and chilling. It was awesome how you wrote a blurb at the start of your post too. Do you take water blasters to the beach when you have water fights with your siblings? Sounds so fun!

I'm so impressed by all your awesome summer learning journey blogs.

    Keep up the great work!

    Fiona (SLJ).
