(SLJ Activity 11) My AWESOME XYLOPHONE!

Hey viewers, today I got to make my own Xylophone out of paper and glass. Making it out of paper was not really the best, but I worked better with glass cups. Doing this reminded me when I was playing with a Xylophone in music class. The hard thing about this was rolling the paper's because it took so much time and the easy thing was pouring water into the cups. I had to make 2 videos, one showing you guys how to make it and the other is saying bye and thanks for watching and stuff. I hope you guys try it out because it was a really cool experiment to do. Sorry if the video is to long. I hope you guys like it! Also at the end I did not get to say bye so im gonna say it now. (Bye Guys Hope You Enjoyed The Video!)

  1. Kia ora Kali,

Wow - I thought your video of the xylophone activity was just awesome! I really liked the way we get to see how you put different volumes of water in the glasses to make different sounds and the way your video really explains what you are doing.
It did look tricky trying to make the instrument out of paper. Do you think you could play twinkle twinkle or maybe happy birthday with four glasses?

Your helpful video has inspired me to try making an xylophone at home with my kids. Thank you!

Have fun doing the new activities that are coming out today (-:

    Great work,

    Fiona (SLJ).
